S&S: Conan – The Frost Giant’s Daughter Audiobook

I’m studying Robert E. Howard’s writing style for my next writing project. This story wasn’t published until after Howard’s death, but it is believed to the earliest story in Conan’s fictional life. I read on one of the sites that it was rejected by publishers.

The story is only about 7 pages long, 20 minutes in the audiobook. I have a bunch of links to add after the video.

For my personal reference:

Synopsis: Right after a battle, the protagonist gets horny and chases a sexy seductress chick off, off and away, until he runs into and fights her powerful brothers. (Robert E. Howard – Conan, The Frost Giant’s Daughter)

Conan The Barbarian wiki page.

Link to The Complete Weird Tales Omnibus, free to download because public domain.

The Complete Chronicles of Conan on The Pirate Bay, Epub version.

PDF versions of Conan short stories, on Hyborien.Nu.

Robert E. Howard short stories on Project Gutenberg.

Update: Here is a direct link to a PDF of Howard’s public domain stories in ‘life’ chronology.

And finally, a list of Conan stories arranged by his fictional lifetime, by Conan Wiki. Other sites list the stories in sequence published, which is okay, except Howard tended to jump around to different times in Conan’s life when he wrote them. You can read the published sequence if you want to read how Howard matured as a writer, but I’d rather read ‘life’ sequence as if I were reading a biography.

This is a better ‘life’ chronology, without links.
